Solid waste collection is included with your residential or light commercial water bill as a separate line item labeled sewer/solid waste collection. SMCMUD currently contracts with Best Trash to collect solid waste and recycling. SMCMUD is not responsible for the solid waste collection. If you did not receive service, contact Best Trash at 281-313-2378 and tell them you are in Southern Montgomery County M.U.D. If you live inside the City of Oak Ridge North, contact their public works at 281-292-4648.

Best Trash will replace any carts that are defective or otherwise become unusable due to normal wear and tear. Lost or stolen carts may be replaced for $75.00 each by calling Best Trash.
